I am out and proud. I have been screaming it on the streets from the time of Harvey Milk and still waving the flag with pride! My life journey has taken me through immense trauma and recovery, from an abusive childhood, the AIDS epidemic, chronic illness issues, and dealing with internalized stigma around my queer identity. I utilize my self-reflective journey through humanistic transpersonal psychodynamics, meeting you where you are in the here and now, offering acceptance and understanding.
I utilize my own self-reflective journey through depth transpersonal psychodynamics. I have training in psychoanalytic thinking, linking your lifeline to the place of understanding while in the “ here and now.” I will walk with you through your journey, offering support, empathy, and compassion. My major influences on philosophical thinking are Carl Jung, Jacque Lacan, Ram Dass, and Amma.
I graduated from the California Institute of Integral Studies with a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies and an MA in Community Mental Health, Counseling Psychology ( 2017). My training offers me a platform of cultural humility and an understanding of trauma and social systems. I have been active in our community for over 35yrs from volunteering with hospice care during the AIDS epidemic to peer counseling. I offer a place of an open heart for you to explore yourself and to heal.
I work extensively with Kink Affirmative/ Sex Positive, Sexual abuse, Substance Use, PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, Chronic pain, Aging, Childhood Trauma, Grieving, and Couples.
