My practice focuses on helping LGBTQIA+ individuals and couples identify and overcome the obstacles that impede personal growth. Grounded in the belief that we humans inherently strive to fulfill our potential, I specialize in finding the root cause of why a client seeks therapy.

Whether it’s depression, anxiety, work-related stress, issues of identity, trauma, or compulsive behaviors around sex, relationships, or substances, there are often early experiences, core beliefs, and patterns of thinking that drive emotions and behavior. These can distort how we view ourselves and the world around us and leave us battling feelings of inadequacy, shame, fear, and guilt.

Utilizing attachment-based and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and integrating mindfulness and somatic techniques, I strive to help clients find the right tools to repair damage, replace negative self-talk, and increase healthy communication in their relationships.

I completed the Addiction & Recovery Counseling program at City College San Francisco and have worked in LGBTQIA+ community mental health settings as a drug and alcohol counselor since 2015. In 2020, I received my MSW from Portland State University.
