My experience as a therapist has allowed me the opportunity to work with individuals around anxiety, depression, trauma, HIV status, substance use, relationship concerns, social anxiety, couples, children and families, and the end-of-life experience, within the context of the LGBTQQI community. As a queer therapist, I understand the unique challenges that face us as individuals and as members of a far too often shaming and abandoning society.

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from San Francisco State University with a focus on Cognitive Theory and life span developmental theory. In addition to my focus on Cognitive Theory, I also focused on child development and worked at the University’s child research center with 4 and 5-year-olds.

I then went on to receive my Masters in Clinical Social Psychology from New College of California. Here I focused on psychodynamic and analytic therapy with a focus on the effects our society has on each of us and how we can affect our environment as well, especially as queer individuals.
