Dr. Conor Smith is a licensed clinical psychologist in California who works primarily with teens and adults and has experience treating a wide array of mental health concerns. Dr. Smith completed his predoctoral and postdoctoral training within the VA healthcare system and is currently a faculty member at the University of San Francisco, where he also received his doctorate in clinical psychology. He is a generalist by training, meaning he has significant experience treating the most common mental health concerns for adolescents and adults. 

While he is trained as a generalist, he has an emphasis on clinical work with LGBTQ+ community members. Moreover, the majority of his research endeavors have been focused on understanding and addressing the healthcare needs of the LGBTQ+ community. He is also a member of the LGBTQ+ community. 

Dr. Smith specializes in humanistic/relational, cognitive-behavioral, dialectical-behavioral, and acceptance and commitment based treatment approaches.
