As an LGBTQ-affirming therapist, I believe it is important to explore not only our sexual and gender identities but also the multiple identities that we hold as unique individuals and how we can relate to others in our lives. Therapy is a space where you can learn to understand, love, and express your authentic self, and as a therapist, my role is to support you in this journey.

My approach to therapy is integrative and collaborative, involving various techniques from psychodynamic, relational, feminist, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and attachment-based theories to support you in your journey. I believe that collaboration is essential and that by working together, we can find ways to enhance your growth, build your resilience, and promote your strengths. I also tend to bring humor and playfulness into the therapy space – life is about many moods and expressions. I specialize in working with sexual and gender diversity, multiculturalism, anxiety, improving communication and relationships, life transitions, and personal and career growth/identity.

I received my master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an LGBTQ Specialization from Antioch University Los Angeles and have been practicing as a therapist since 2010. I have worked specifically with LGBTQ youth, adults, and families in various diverse settings in both Los Angeles and San Francisco.

In addition to my work with clients at SF Therapy Collective and in my private practice, I am a clinical supervisor both at SF Therapy Collective and for a queer mental health program at Brave Trails, a California-based LGBTQ youth leadership camp.
