I identify my approach as psychodynamic, humanistic, strength-based, and client-centered. I utilize aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and art therapy to provide a holistic and eclectic approach that is individualized for every client. I strive to offer a safe space and a brave space for clients through warmth, curiosity, humor, and the genuine desire to help and heal. I find joy in supporting people as they navigate life’s difficulties and feel that therapy is a sacred means by which to understand ourselves and the world around us better.

Since receiving my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Golden Gate University in 2015, I have worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds experiencing mental and emotional health concerns such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, grief, and addiction. I also have experience working with people experiencing homelessness and socioeconomic stress, coping with criminal justice issues, and are questioning/exploring aspects of their intersectional identities. As an SFTC clinician, I have worked with people across the spectrum of gender and sexuality, specifically with individuals who identify as trans or gender nonconforming.
